HELPING BRANDS SING OUT! Never have there been more opportunities for brands to connect with fans through music. The relationship between entertainment and advertising is both unique and symbiotic and can be highly lucrative but it's not an easy ride for anyone... |
WHAT WAS MMAF? Featuring case histories from Nokia, Smirnoff, Tiger, Wieden + Kennedy, FRUKT, Friendster, F1 Rocks, Warner Music, Google China, Fremantle, Universal Music, Electrico, Khalil Fong and a host of other artists and their managers, the Music Matters Ad Forum was a one-day conference held at the Grand Hyatt Singapore on Tuesday, 8 December 2009 in association with Media Magazine (a day prior to their Agency of the Year Awards). The Forum was built around three modules: Brands, Bands and Fans, including a Live Music Showcase after-party featuring some amazing stars mixing with Asia's up-coming acts. Here's what the press said:
WHAT WERE OUR OBJECTIVES? We filled the room with buyers (ad agencies and clients) and sellers (labels, artists, managers, retail, promoters, media, mobile, telcos etc) presenting them with real time opportunities and great case histories from around the world. New collaborations were formed, artists picked up new sponsors, advertisers discovered new ways to market their brands. Job Done. WHO WAS INVOLVED? Music Matters, in association with Asia's leading regional advertising and marketing publication Media Magazine.
